In the construction process of any marina the floating dock system is one of the most important considerations. Potona Aluminum alloy docking systems are produced using the technical standards such as UFC, CE & AS standardized docking modules.

Aluminum Alloy Walkway Dock System

System Composition--Consisted of four main parts: Aluminum structure, PE floating box, Deck and Fender.
It is widely applied to various floating structures like marina, private berth, competition floating bridge and lakeside floating bridge. And it is a new generation product of environmental floating bridge.

Aluminum Gangway

High quality aluminum alloy gangway, extra light and sturdy. The walkway is specially designed same as our other products, looks elegant.
1. The frame is made of marine grade 6061 (T6) series aluminum alloy, MIG welding.
2. The decking of gangway is high quality anti-slip WPC or aluminum decking which fits the floating dock harmoniously.
3. Handrails are equipped at both sides of gangway and meet the requirements for disabled.
4. Hinge joint between quay wall and top of gangway, lap joint between floating dock and bottom of gangway to fit the changes of water level.

Potona Marine Project  

Qingdao International Olympic Games Sailing Centre has been accredited

with 4 Gold Anchors.

The 2008 floating dock project in Qingdao was our first project using their concrete pontoon system. Currently the 500 berth competition marina has been open to the public and been a port of call (due to the excellent facilities) in the Volvo Clipper around the world race.

"With 28 years experience of Gold Anchor standards, the TYHA Gold Anchor Award Scheme is a point of reference for all boat owners to gain the information needed to decide on where to berth. The scheme ranges from 1 to 5 gold anchors. Any award is a sure sign of a credible and quality marina with the number of anchors demonstrating the facilities and standard of service available to berth holders as well as compliance with statutory regulations.

Over 160 marinas participate from 28 countries around the world, the scheme is increasingly growing as an internationally recognised accreditation. Ratings are endorsed by the Royal Yachting Association, ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations) and the British Marine Federation. All Gold Anchor marinas meet the industry standards, where higher ratings denote more facilities and a greater focus on customer services".
